Custom kernel from Array.org, but Ubuntu's eeepc one is just as fine. Lightning fast, standard Gnome desktop, plenty of apps, dual monitor, GSM modem, WiFi, VNC, SSH server, mail server, Wine, you name it — all the good stuff. "Upgraded" from Ubuntu Eee (now Easy Peasy) — highly recommended. Some large SD cards provide extra storage. Obviously I use my Eee for browsing, downloads, music and light stuff. At times I boot the Mac OS X Leopard (iDeneb) from the other SSD, but it's so slow...
