Eee PCs Run Windows 7 Well

Laptop Mag was able to run Windows 7 on an Eee 1000H, and surprisingly, Windows 7 ran on the Eee with just a few hiccups. Well we actually shouldn’t be surprised, because Microsoft did show that Windows 7 ran on the Lenovo S10 without a hitch.

And Laptop Mag has made the following observations:

• Boot time is 58 seconds
• Windows 7 looks and feels like Vista so far
• network manager has been improved since Vista
• video playback is smooth
• light on system resources

Looks good so far. Let’s cross our fingers and hope that Windows 7 will be just as light as the pre-beta version they installed on the Eee 1000H.
