Eee 1000H Screen Cracks
EeeUser has reported that some Eee 1000H screens crack under “low stress situations”.
The second user added to the thread this past week, reporting a similar incident and posting a picture. Apparently, it worked fine the night before, but the next morning was already cracked when opened. The crack is not seen on the outside- there is no damage to the front of the screen or the back of the lid.
Has anyone else out there had any incidents like this, or do you think they are just incidental incidents?

I have the same issue. May be heat related. Netbook went from A/c to hot car and actually started cracking during use.

Exactly the same happened to me. The night before the screen was fine took it to a meeting the next morning a screen from bottom right hand side cracked.

When you are looking for a lawyer to bring you to court, be sure to see if he has any types of cases that he specializes in, apart from the type of law he practices. If a person is unhappy with an order they should seek to modify it, if they qualify for a modification, rather than not follow it.

I have just had my Eee 1005 screen crack over night while it was not in use and I was sleeping. Looks like there was a small explosion in the lower left corner and all I can see now is 3cm of the right part of the screen from top to bottom.
Very very strange! Seems I’m not the only one though… won’t be buying another one to replace it!!
