ASUS denies plans to phase out smaller Eee PCs

A few days ago, it was reported that ASUS will begin phasing out their 7 to 8-inch Eee PCs to make the 10-inch Eees the standard. Apparently, ASUS CEO Jerry Shen was misquoted.

According to ZDNet,

a spokesperson for Asus told ZDNet UK that the Taiwanese firm would continue to bring out seven- and 8.9-inch Eee PC models. The spokesperson added that netbooks of these sizes were due a “refreshment on the specifications”, suggesting that new versions of these models could be on the way.

Well, if that’s the case, then we’re looking forward to it.

Wonderful blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any suggestions? Appreciate it!
