Apparently, not so good.

From Eee User:
Asus continue to tease us regarding the new T91. The Asus Eee PC T91, the new touch screen netbook with swivel ability and tablet mode, is a very much anticipated new release from Asus’ Eee line. Recently, they go on further by now making the drivers available for download on their official support site.
This ads fuel to the fire of anxiety, which certainly hasn’t died down since the announcement of a T91 version with Windows 7 which will support multi-touch. Now, we surely can not expect an imminent release just because we found some drivers, can we? But it seems we should be nearing an announcement soon, given these indications, but “sometime in June” is still the estimated delivery date until we hear further.
Wait, what? Windows 7? Multi-touch?
Intel seems to have leaked its roadmap regarding the future of the Atom processor. From Netbook choice:
The first details have emerged regarding Intel’s next-generation of Atom processors codenamed ‘Pineview’. According to industry sources in Taiwan, Intel is planning to launch the single-core Atom N400 series targeted for netbooks. The single-core Atom D400 and dual-core Atom D500 series will be targeted to the nettop market. This will be paired with the Intel NM10 Express chipset (codenamed ‘Tiger point’).
The first next-gen netbook Atom processor will be the N450, which will replace the 1.6GHz N270 Atom. The Pine Trail platform will see the current three-chip system move to two-chips, leading to lower costs, greater power efficiency and performance. For example, the new two-chip design (Intel N450 Atom + NM10 chipset) compared to the old three-chip platform (Intel Atom N270 + 945GSE + ICH7M) will result in a 64 percent space reduction from 2174mm2 to 773mm2.
The N450 Atom processor will support hyper-threading, run at a clock speed of 1.66GHz, and have 512KB L2 Cache. The processor will also support 2 DIMM slots with a maximum memory capacity of 2GB. The Integrated Graphics Processor (IGP) will also see its clock speed increase from 133MHz to 200MHz. The IGP will include GMA500 graphics rather than the GMA950 seen in most netbooks today. Hopefully by the time this chip is released there will be proper Linux drivers for the GMA500.
Did you read that? Hyper-threading. I’m excited.
If you have an old Eee PC 70x lying around, check out this thread from the Eee User forum.
User RandyLude92 has managed to hack his way around his old Eee PC.
According to Eee User:
Eeeuser forum member RandyLude92 has a long forum thread detailing how he managed to retrieve the larger screen from the 90x and maneuver it into the 70x. This involves carefully lifting the screen from the 90x, placing it into the 70x and even updating the BIOS to support the larger screen (to remove the screen size limitation, otherwise the whole screen would not be properly utilised).
Obviously, this is not for the faint of heart. Go ahead if you’re feeling adventurous.
If you’ve always wanted to squeeze more life out of your 701, well, this “eeeBookMode” package will help you turn your 701 into an eReader.
The tutorial is in Italian, but with a little Google Translate magic, you can read the English version here.

One of my gripes with netbooks is that the screen’s just too darned small (okay, I’m too cheap to buy a bigger laptop, but hey) so the prospect of an 11.6-inch screen on a netbook sounds really good to me. So this mysterious seashell netbook just turned up, and I’m intrigued.
The Eee PC 1101HA will feature a larger-than-usual 11.6-inch LCD, a 1,366 x 768 resolution, a battery good for “up to 11 hours”, Intel’s Atom Z520 / Z530 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, three USB 2.0 sockets, and a multicard reader.
If you’re really interested to try out Jolicloud, watch the video above so you’d see what you’re getting when it finally comes out.

So, the 1008HA may be the sexiest Eee PC out there, but when it’s opened, it’s another story. As you can see, it’s full of lots of scotch tape, I’m surprised if a single jolt will just shake the netbook’s innards loose. God, I hope not.

If you’re wondering what the High Definition mode on the 1000HV does, Liliputing has the answer for you:
It overclocks the Intel Atom processor to give your system a slightly better chance of decoding HD movies with the aid of the Eee PC 1000HV’s included ATI Radeon GPU. So for those keeping score, here’s what happens when you use the Super Hybrid Engine in several different modes:
